It's definitely bullshit because my house isn't a lighting studio! >:( Anyway, several other people say that they gradually come back, so it'll have to sit in my closet until that fated day. At least Christmas is somewhat far away. Maybe green will return in full by then, because we'll be seeing red and gray otherwise. And that's so not festive.
